The Wood Crate column states sources: Playtime, Daily, Level-ups. Verified examples include the 1H Playtime tier and the WELCOME code reward documented on the codes page; we did not verify every level-up grant.

What does Cape guaranteed in 25 crates mean?

The Halloween column shows pity text Cape guaranteed in 25 crates under the OPEN and BUY buttons. We treat it as UI copy from frames, not as odds we calculated ourselves.

What happens when you pull a duplicate cosmetic?

The bottom of the Crates window reads Duplicates turn into Emeralds. We did not verify conversion rates per rarity.

Can you buy a Wood Crate with Emeralds?

In captured footage the Wood Crate column showed OPEN, Rewards only, and ODDS—no BUY Emeralds button. Halloween and Emerald columns did show BUY prices.

What are Crates in +1 Upgrade Per Kill?

Crates are loot boxes opened from the Crates button on the lobby right rail (next to Shop). The window shows your Gold and Emeralds balances at the top and three crate columns in verified October 2026 footage: Halloween (seasonal), Wood Crate (free-track drops), and Emerald Crate (premium Emeralds column). Rewards skew toward Locker cosmetics—name Frame, Name Color, and Kill Message lines—not toward upgrade gear on the upgrade ladder.

How do you earn Wood Crates without Robux?

The Wood column explicitly names Playtime, Daily, Level-ups:

Playtime — 1H tier grants a Wood Crate (playtime rewards).
Daily — Quest and seasonal tracks can grant crates or rolls; Halloween WEEK 1 finished tasks showed All 3 done: +1 Halloween Crate (seasonal box, not Wood, but same menu family).
Level-ups — Listed on the Wood card; we did not verify which LV milestones grant crates.

Code redemptions can also grant crates (for example WELCOME showing Wood Crate on the codes page). That path is Shop → CODES, not the Crates window itself.

What do you get when you open a Wood Crate?

Opening animation in footage used the title WOOD CRATE, then a RARE FRAME reveal: Oak with a NEW! tag—an Oak name-tag border for Locker → Frame (Border of your name tag in the Locker UI).

Locker also lists Name Color and Kill Message (example flavor word toppled) with rarity tags such as Common, Rare, and Legendary. We only confirmed Oak frame origin from a Wood Crate pull; other cosmetics may come from Emerald or Halloween columns.

How do Halloween and Emerald Crates differ?

Halloween is time-limited (countdown on the column). You can OPEN owned boxes or BUY ◆200 per frame. Pity copy: Cape guaranteed in 25 crates. We did not verify Cape visuals or stats—only the guarantee line.

Emerald Crate uses BUY ◆150 when you have none in stock. Pity copy: Legendary+ guaranteed in 20 crates. Use this column when you have Emeralds from Playtime (10 and 25 tiers), Daily All 3 done bonuses, pumpkin events (+5 EMERALDS popups in arena footage), or duplicate refunds.

Seasonal Halloween Crate quest rewards (WEEK 1 +1 Halloween Crate) are separate from the Wood track but share the same Crates hub—check Quests → Halloween before the Ends in timer expires.

How should you spend keys and Emeralds?

Editorial opinion: open Wood Crates you earn free before spending ◆150 on Emerald pulls, unless you are chasing Legendary+ pity on a cosmetic you want in Locker. For Halloween, remember the column expires with the event timer—unopened event crates may behave differently after updates; we only saw the countdown, not post-event rules.
